In order to show real appreciation for our outstanding residents, SDSM&T Residence Life awards one student selected as the Outstanding Resident of the Year with room rent credit totaling $1000 for the academic year.  The 2012 recipient will receive $500 rent credit toward their on-campus housing each semester of the 2012-2013 academic year.
 
This award is intended to recognize and show appreciation for the many ways that resident students make living on-campus a great experience.  If you have a friend or neighbor, who is currently a resident of the SDSM&T residence halls, that has impacted your on-campus experience in a positive way, consider nominating that student for this award.
 
All nominees will receive an email from the Director of Residence Life congratulating them on being nominated and acknowledging his or her nominators.  The email will include further directions on how to complete the application.  To be considered by the Selection Committee, the nominee will need to submit the requested information no later than noon on Friday, March 30, 2012.
